Holiday Outreach: Adopt-A-Family
Clearwater is joining SERVE 6.8 once again to participate in Adopt-A-Family for one of our holiday outreaches. As a church we have “adopted” Axis International Academy, which means we’ll be providing gifts to families in need within the school. We will have many opportunities for you to get involved over the coming weeks. You can start by grabbing an ornament from the Giving Tree on Sunday. Then, purchase the item(s) listed on the card and return them to the tree before Christmas. We’ll also be needing toy packing teams and volunteers to help with our Connection Event where we will distribute gifts to the families. Sign up your family or small group at the sign-up counter on Sunday.

Toy Packing: We’ll have two dates to choose from. Each event will be capped at 20 people. Teams will go to the Toy Room and pack gifts for our Axis families.
• Monday, November 27 6:00-8:00 pm at the Loveland Toy Room (Outlets @ Loveland)
• Thursday, November 30, 6:00-8:00 pm – same location

Connection Event: Thursday, December 7 5:30-7:30 @ Clearwater
We are looking for 15-20 people to come and connect with our adopted Axis families and distribute gifts.

A Christmas Gathering
On Sunday, December 10, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m., we will hold our much-loved A Christmas Gathering. Come be part of the audience or sign up to perform (calling all singers, musicians, story tellers, and dancers). It’s a fun-filled family time of carols, skits, dancing, wassail, cookies, and general merriment as we prepare for Christmas. Please see Haven Marsh at the Sign-Up Table after the service to sign up for your act. Hurry! We have a limited number of spaces available for the performers!

Recycle Eyeglasses and Hearing Aids
Lions Clubs have been collecting used eyeglasses and hearing aids for many years. Clearwater has one of their collection boxes. Glasses and behind the ear hearing aids may be left at the Connect Spot, church office or placed in the collection box near the bulletin board, outside the office.

There are several ways that you can give to our church. You may mail your check to 2700 S. Lemay Avenue, Ft. Collins, 80525 or set up an auto pay through your bank. Donations may also be given online through our website by clicking HERE. We greatly appreciate your support for our ministry!

Designate Clearwater on Community Rewards
Donate to Clearwater through King Soopers by designating Clearwater Church at King Soopers. It’s so EASY to support Clearwater!

The Kroger Family of Companies is committed to community engagement, positive social impact and charitable giving at the national and local levels. Every community is unique, but our common goal is to partner with the neighborhoods we serve and help the people there live healthier lives.

One of the ways in which we do this is through our King Soopers Community Rewards program. This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at King Soopers and swipe your Shopper’s Card. Here’s how it works:

1. Create a digital account.

A digital account is needed to participate in King Soopers Community Rewards. If you already have a digital account, simply link your Shopper’s Card to your account so that all transactions apply toward the organization you choose.

2. Link your card to Clearwater.

Selecting the organization that you wish to support is as simple as updating the King Soopers Community Rewards selection on your digital account.

1. Sign in to your digital account
2. Search for your organization here
3. Enter “Clearwater Church”
4. Select “Clearwater Church, then click “Save”

Your selected organization will also display in the King Soopers Community Rewards section of your account. If you need to review or revisit your organization, you can always do so under your Account details.

3. Your organization earns.

Any transactions moving forward using the Shopper’s Card number associated with your digital account will be applied to the program, at no added cost to you. King Soopers donates annually to participating organizations based on your percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending associated with all participating King Soopers Community Rewards organizations.
