On-Going Bible Studies

1. Going Deeper Hour

Go deeper into the life and teachings of Jesus. The Great Commission includes that we teach our committed disciples to observe all that Christ had taught the twelve (Matthew 28:18-20). So, that’s what we do in this gathering. We welcome anyone who desires to spend time in the Four Gospels to discover Jesus at a deeper level. This is an on-going, expository teaching with time for questions and prayer. This is a great place to explore the heart of Clearwater Church. Bring your Bibles and let’s celebrate Jesus together. Led by David Niquette, Teaching Pastor, in Room 213, Sundays @ 9:00 a.m.

2. Walking in the Spirit

Identity Defined by Pete Briscoe. How would you define yourself? We live in a world that is constantly trying to define us based on achievement, financial standing, appearance, or popularity. Many of us struggle under the force of these lies, and we end up believing false perceptions of ourselves. But if you’re in Christ, there’s good news—He defines your identity!

So what is our identity as Christians? In this 6-message series, Pete Briscoe shares how Scripture defines who we are in Christ. He reminds us we are more than any definition society may give us. Pete’s teaching will have you reconsidering who you really are. In Christ, you have a new identity, and if you grasp it, it can change your reality today!

The class format allows for a short video with plenty of time for questions and discussion. Led by Michael Simonov, Room 216, Sundays @ 9:00 a.m.

3. Renewing the Mind

Designed for the members to study the Scriptures for a deeper understanding of God and His ways. (Colossians 1:1) A major emphasis is to come into the knowledge of how the Holy Spirit transforms our minds to where a Christian actually “takes on” the mind of Christ and is changed into His likeness. The class is currently reading and discussing the book, How People Grow by Drs. Cloud and Townsend. Led by Tom Parks, Room 214, Sundays @ 9:00 a.m.
