At Clearwater Church, many learning opportunities are offered. If you have children, excellent nursery care and well-designed classes for pre-school through high school are available for your children while you attend the 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning classes.
On-Going Bible Studies
Go deeper into the life and teachings of Jesus. The Great Commission includes that we teach our committed disciples to observe all that Christ had taught the twelve (Matthew 28:18-20). So, that’s what we do in this gathering. We welcome anyone who desires to spend time in the Four Gospels to discover Jesus at a deeper level. This is an on-going, expository teaching with time for questions and prayer. This is a great place to explore the heart of Clearwater Church. Bring your Bibles and let’s celebrate Jesus together. Led by David Niquette, Teaching Pastor, in the Dining Room, Sundays @ 9:00 a.m.
Hearing the Holy Spirit’s Voice by Pete Briscoe, a 4-part video teaching series. Is there a decision in your life that you’re grappling with? Do you want to hear what God has to say about it? We face thousands of decisions throughout our lives—some are only minor, but others may be life-altering. It’s easy to get overwhelmed and wonder: Is God even interested? And if He is, how do you recognize His voice amidst the clatter and chaos of life?
The class format allows for the 24-minute video with plenty of time for questions and discussion. Led by Michael Simonov, Room 216, Sundays @ 9:00 a.m.
Designed for the members to study the Scriptures for a deeper understanding of God and His ways. (Colossians 1:1) A major emphasis is to come into the knowledge of how the Holy Spirit transforms our minds to where a Christian actually “takes on” the mind of Christ and is changed into His likeness. The class is currently reading and discussing the book, How People Grow by Drs. Cloud and Townsend. Led by Tom Parks, Room 214, Sundays @ 9:00 a.m.
At Clearwater Church, we embrace the whole Bible as God’s self-disclosure. We meet Him, get to know Him, and experience His love and grace through the words He has offered us in the Word of God. The Bible is more than a text book for facts about God. It is the open door into His heart. Would you like to experience God more deeply in the times you spend with Him with an open Bible in your lap? Then come. We will learn how to experience Jesus as both the Truth and the Life. Led by Jonathan Hittle, Room 211, Sundays @ 9:00 a.m.
